Adding a new bank account and payment card to a customer account in the console gateway

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to add a new bank account and payment card to a customer account.

    We will use the following parameters:
    Customer's Name: John Smith

    Contact Info/Billing Address:
    Street Address 1: 12 Main St
    Street Address 2: 5th Ave
    City: New York
    State: NY
    Postal Code: 31904

    Payment Option: Credit Card
    Name On Card: card1
    Card#: 4111111111111111
    Expiration date: 04/22
    CSC: 111
    Street Address 1: 233 12th Street
    Street Address 2: 5th Ave
    City: New York
    State: NY
    Postal Code: 11111
    Country code: US

    Payment Option: Bank Account
    Name On Account: John Smith
    Account #: 4099999992
    Routing #: 021000021

  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Locate sidebar menu on the new Console.
  4. Select Customers menu item.
  5. Locate John Smith in the list of customers on Customer Summary form.
    Note: you can add and apply filters to search customers by one or combination of the following parameters: first name, last name, organization, email, phone, balance, status.

  6. Click Settings button.
  7. Locate Payment Option Summary form.
  8. Click Add Bank Account button.
  9. Locate Payment Details tab.
  10. Enter John Smith into the Name on Accounttextbox.
  11. Enter 409999999 into the Account #textbox.
  12. Enter 021000021 into the Routing #textbox.
  13. Choose Checking     Account Type as default.
  14. Locate Billing Details tab.
  15. Enter 12 Main St into the Streettextbox.
  16. Enter 5th Ave into the Streettextbox.
  17. Enter New York into the Citytextbox.
  18. Select US and New York in Statedropdown .
  19. Enter 31904 into the ZIP Codetextbox.
  20. Click   Savebutton .
  21. Locate Payment Option Summary form.
  22. Click Add Card button.
  23. Locate Payment Details tab.
  24. Enter John Smith into the Name on Accounttextbox.
  25. Enter 4111111111111111 into the Credit Card #textbox.
  26. Enter 04/22 into the Exp Datedropdown.
  27. Locate Billing Details tab.
  28. Enter 233 12th Street into the Streettextbox.
  29. Enter 5th Ave into the Streettextbox.
  30. Enter New York into the Statedropdown.
  31. Enter 11111 into the ZIP Codetextbox.
  32. Click   Savebutton .
  33. Congratulations, you are done!
